As an early adopter of the iPad, I quickly became immersed in its creative potential. The device’s clean, portable nature allowed for spontaneous creativity, something I always found challenging with traditional mediums. The term “intelligent art by design” emerged from my manual, patent-pending creative process, which involves meticulously identifying, mixing, and matching unique palettes of my drawings, images, textures, and designs. By combining these elements with a select recipe of iPad applications, I create each unique mixed media composition.
My work draws strong references from numerous artistic genres, including Fauvism, Abstract Art, Pop Art, and Cubism. Experimental POP ART, while influenced by these styles, maintains its own unique aesthetic, with significant inspiration from artists like Picasso, Basquiat, Joan Miró, Salvador Dalí, Peter Max, Tadanori Yokoo, Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Gustav Klimt, and Egon Schiele.
Experimental POP ART offers viewers an opportunity for discovery without necessarily the need for a predefined story or explanation. Each piece is allowed to present itself, evolve, grow, and recede in the viewer’s eye, becoming both novel and familiar, and encouraging contemplation and conversation.
